Mayor's Welcome
It is my pleasure on behalf of Council and the Citizens of Camrose to extend a warm welcome to all the participants, coaches, officials, spectators and volunteers involved in the 2009 CCAA Cross Country Running Championships being held in our City.
Cross Country Running is a sport that demands endurance and a strong commitment to excellence plus many hours of practice and to compete at this level is a worthy achievement accomplished only by hard work and determination.
Council is particularly pleased that Augustana Campus University of Alberta has shown leadership by hosting this event and that it will entice many people to visit Camrose.
